Unreliable drive

The current MX500 model is being shipped with a faulty firmware (RAID support not working) but Crucial is not fixing the issue or providing a path to downgrade it. Our drive not only suffered no support for RAID due to this recent firmware but also dropped out seconds after first access in windows 10 (on our dell inspiron i5 machines). Force to return but now out of pocket for postage, insurance and return fees, no help from Crucial as these are mass produced not worth their time resolving firmware issues for customers. Not sure why they are still for sale on this site given the firmware still isn't patched.
